WE ARE ON HOLIDAYS
I am currently out of office so if you are interested in booking a lesson please email at contact@lakepaws.ch
We offer private and group lessons for dogs off any age as well as the
mandatory dog training from the veterinary office of canton Zurich in English, German and Dutch
If you are booking your first lesson with us, please write an email with a little something about your dog (breed, age, training goals etc.) so we can make sure we get the right training for you.
All group lessons (puppy classes and city walks) are held outside in the city centre of Zurich or in one of the parks at the lake. at the end of the lesson we go to a cafe where we can discuss the training, ask questions and of course talk to the other dog owners.

About me
Hi, I’m Suzanne, a certified dog trainer and biologist. I’m half Australian, half Dutch, and currently live in Zurich with my two dogs, Léa and Rosie. I completed my dog training certification at Kynologie Schweiz in 2023 and hold a bachelor's degree in Biology. I'm also pursuing a master's degree at the University of Edinburgh, College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.
I love travelling, and I often travel all around Europe with my dogs. Léa, the light coloured dog, is a Mini Goldendoodle, and Rosie, the brown and white dog, is a Mini Australian Labradoodle.
My academic background in biology and animal behaviour, combined with experience with dogs of different breeds and sizes, has taught me a lot about the diverse personalities of dogs and the training methods that work best for them.
I strongly believe that training should suit both the dog and the owner. Understanding both is essential in determining the most effective training approach, as dog training is never a one-size-fits-all. Finding a method that suits both is essential for consistency, which is key to successful dog training. My goal is to find a method that works for both of you, ensuring a positive and enjoyable training experience that suits your lifestyle while achieving consistency and fast results.
